Now that we are moving into the Christmas Season, we are listening to the “sounds” of Christmas in the music we play. What about the “smells” of Christmas? Spices, balsam and peppermint are favorites. Today, let’s take a look at a great blend called Chrstmas Spirit.
This a wonderful blend of evergreen, citrus and spice that fills the house with joy and happiness.
Orange (Citrus sinensis) lends just enough citrus to this blend to make it yummy. Orange is elevating to the mind and body and helps bring about a sense of security, joy, and peace.
Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum verum) has been known as the oil of wealth from the Orient and part of the special formula given by God to Moses to anoint the people. (Exodus 30:22-27). Traditionally, cinnamon was thought to have a frequency that attracted wealth and abundance. It is highly antiviral, antifungal and antibacteial. Diffusing this oil is not only great for the Christmas season but will help protect your home when visitors come with colds.
Spruce (Picea mariana) adds the evergreen smell to this blend. It helps the respiratory and nervous systems, is anti-infectious, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory. Its aromatic influences help to open and release emotional blocks and bring about a feeling of balance and grounding. The whole house will feel like Christmas when you diffuse this oil.
So there you have it–a blend that can bring warmth and happiness into your home.
